About Us

We are a group of 5 students from Shipley College, working on the MSW project 3D environments 2D Graphic storyboards Adobe flash interfaces.

What is MSW?

MSW stands for Multi-Story Water, and Multi-Story Water is an interactive research project that, in 2012, has been exploring people's relationships with the waterways in the Shipley-Baildon area.

We are are going to be doing the Shipley area of this project, making flash interfaces, and 3D models as we go along.

Our research on our client and the multi story waters project.

The Project .
Multi-Story Water is a celebration of the waterways in the Shipley area – the River Aire, Bradford Beck, and the Leeds-Liverpool Canal. The performances being presented in September are among the outcomes of an interactive research project, which responds to a challenge from the Environment Agency.

Steve Bottoms is the Co - Director of the MSW project,

and also The client.

Steve Bottoms has taken on the Multi Water Stories project which is based on the three routes in Saltaire. Steve is currently working as a professor of contemporary theatre and performance at Manchester University.   Steve Bottoms is also well known for his roles as an experience theatre actor, performer etc. As well as plays Steve has contributed in the theatre. In his spare Steve has also wrote books on topics that may seem as diverse as American Play Wright Edward Albee.
Steve Bottoms wanted to tackle such a great project so he could celebrate all of the routes and the canals in Saltaire. This project shows the residents relationships, life stories with the waterways and residential areas.  Underneath you will find a number of companies who have displayed an interest in the Multi Story Water project.
